SB TRIAD - Expired Prescription Drug Drop Off Program

For many years SaddleBrooke has had a free short term medi-
cal equipment loan program. Recently it was almost discontin-
ued because of a shortage of storage space and volunteers.
The Community Church has now stepped in to rescue the pro-
gram and continue this important community service. Please
click
HERE for more information. And be sure to spread the
word to any friends and neighbors who may need the program!
You can now safely dispose of old prescription and over-the-
counter drugs right here in SaddleBrooke (sorry, no liquids or
needles). The Pinal County Sheriff's Substation in the Mini Mart
is open on the
second Friday of each month (10 AM to
Noon)
and  the fourth Tuesday (2:00 to 4:00 PM). For more
info and the Federal disposal guidelines, please click
HERE.
Every resident should have one of these! If you are alone and
unable to open the door when 911 responders show up, they
may have to break in. A house key in the secure lock box (that
ONLY first responders can access) will enable them to enter
quickly and lock up on the way out. You can also leave a note
for the care of pets if you are taken to the hospital. A folder for
medical records (allergies, prescriptions, etc.) is also provided
to affix to the refrigerator. Click

IMPACT is the local non-profit serving the SaddleBrooke area. We
will refer Village members to them for services such as meals on
wheels (e.g., after surgery), medical alert devices especially for
seniors living alone (remember the old ads -- "help I've fallen and
can't get up"), programs at the new Senior Center, and anything
else that seems appropriate.
